我的美國世界

最近持續在找工作跟上課中度過。由於這個學期以來我都無心課業，為了找工作有時候必須蹺課往紐約跑，所以學習進度落後不少。因為case都沒時間念，上課自然也講不出什麼屁來，為此還收到教授的警告信，叫我要多發言（會因為上課不講話而被警告的學校還真的沒幾間）。這禮拜開始重新振作，每堂課幾乎都發言兩次以上，有個教授很高興看到我更專心投入課業，下課了還寫信鼓勵我，說我今天發言很棒，希望以後能繼續保持。這麼熱血的教授真是令人落淚啊。

今天聽到有學長畢業之後去NBA總部上班，我閒來無事順便上網查了一下，發現他們真的有針對MBA學生提供的專案，我看我明年如果找不到banking或是consulting的話，去NBA上班也不錯，除了可能常常會有免費的公關票之外，應該可以在辦公室直接看到各種比賽，每個角落隨時都有熱血的灌籃鏡頭，我再也不用擔心因為工作錯過每年的明星賽大拜拜了（我還真是容易滿足）。沒有什麼事情比結合工作跟籃球更熱血的了。

The NBA is seeking to hire several 2008 MBA Graduates for various strategic and analytical roles.

Positions are based in New York City or Secaucus, NJ.

Major Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison across all NBA departments establishing the necessary processes and programs to help individual business units reach their target customer.
• Identify partners, programs, and platforms that best enable the NBA to reach individual fans at the right time.
• Financial modeling.
• Develop potential partnership targets that extend beyond existing NBA partners/sponsors and explore ‘non-traditional’ partnership opportunities.
• Review, analyze and monitor portfolio for positioning, messaging and compliance.
• Build and develop relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.
• Provide direction, leadership and coaching to members of a project team you are leading.
• Provide quantitative analysis and research with respect to domestic and international business opportunities.  
• Research, analyze, formulate and help negotiate potential domestic and international business opportunities involving NBA, WNBA and D-League entities.

Required Skills/Knowledge

Experience Needed

2-6 years of business experience required.

Educational Background Required

MBA required.
